Dr. Tracey Steele takes over as the Chair for the Department of Sociology/Anthropology effective August 15, 2014. Tracey is a graduate from the University of Texas with a Doctorate in Sociology. The Department of History is pleased to announce that Mark E. Benbow, Ph.D. (M.A., WSU, 1983), has been named the department's Outstanding Alumnus for 2014. Dr. Benbow is currently an Assistant Professor of History at Marymount University (VA). The American Association of Teachers of French, Ohio Chapter, recently elected new officers. Wright State's French Instructor, Karine Daddah was elected Secretary-Treasurer, Lucas Hoffman is the new President, Mary Townsend is the association new Vice President and our recent Wright State's French graduate, Samantha Martin manages the "Grand Concours".
Dr. Pascale Abadie and Dr. Kirsten Halling were past Presidents of the AATF Ohio and Dr. Hertzler was also a past Treasurer.

Martin Kim, 2000, M.U.A. We’d like to introduce you to Martin Kim, adjunct professor with the Department of Urban Affairs and Geography since 2009.
