On October 9th and 10th, MPA students traveled to Hamilton, Ohio to volunteer at CDP’s (Community Development Professionals) Non-Profit Conference. Along with volunteering, graduate assistants Ethan Harris and Hani Termanini were on hand distributing information about the Master of Public Administration and Wright State University’s College of Liberal Arts. The theme of our quilt show is Celebrating Women's Studies Through Quilt Stories because Women’s Studies, an interdisciplinary program, uses several textbooks and books in their courses which feature quilt designs as their covers.

On Friday, October 10, several dozen French Club members gathered at the Rockafield Alumni Center to try their hand at cheese-making. Led by French Instructor Benjamin Hirt, the students learned how to make mozzarella cheese and caramel cream with Ben's own goat milk. A tasting followed allowing students, staff and visitors to try these products for the first time!

On September 13, members of the Wright State Spanish Club spent the morning at the Centerville Library in order to participate in "A Day in México." This event features a different country each year and this year the library reached out to the Spanish Club to assist with their activities.
