Department of English Language and Literatures

Give to English Language and Literatures

The generosity of English Department alumni, faculty, and friends supports programs integral to the success of our students. In this time of declining state support and rising levels of student debt, departmental scholarships make a key difference to our students. Gifts to various English Department funds such as the Program Fund or Visiting Writers enable us to enrich our students’ academic experience by sponsoring readings by novelists and poets or lectures by notable scholars. The Founders Fund supports activities for our four student organizations that build community and enhance professionalism among English majors. Your gift to any of these funds makes a real difference!
