Ten people with Wright State connections, including an engineering professor and police sergeant, were named to the Dayton Business Journal’s 2019 “Forty Under 40” list.

Wright State University honored more than 2,000 graduating students at its spring commencement ceremony May 4 in the Wright State Nutter Center.

Wright State University President Cheryl B. Schrader addressed the class by focusing on many of the graduates' achievements in the last year. "Class of 2019, each of you has left your own unique mark on our Wright State family and community," said Schrader.

At Wright State, Olivia Kilby, a senior political science and liberal studies major, discovered she can accomplish great things in her life.

Wright State alumni collaborated with the Bolinga Black Cultural Resources Center to establish the African American Alumni Society scholarship.

Jennifer Rosengarten, who received her bachelor’s degree in painting from Wright State, was commissioned to create paintings for Miami Valley Hospital South.
