On Friday March 18, 2016, professors Hirt & Daddah, organized a “Conversation Evening" for their French Conversation classes. They invited their students to an evening of conversation and good food at the Forest Community Center. The students conversed with a group of French speaking people from Mauritania, Haiti, Koweit, France, Senegal, Cameroun, Canada, Vietnam, Belgium and Algeria. On Friday, March 11, twelve students were nominated for lifetime membership in the Wright State chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, la Sociedad Nacional Honoraria Hispánica. They met the strict scholastic requirements for membership, maintaining a minimum 3.5 GPA in their Spanish courses and a 3.2 overall GPA.
