Devon Stephenson is a senior social work student who is studying German as his language requirement. He will be participating in an Ambassador Program in Zurich, Switzerland centered on the course entitled “Comparative Social Welfare Policy: US and Switzerland.” He will be learning at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences School of Social Work where he will take classes alongside Swiss social work students in an effort to encourage diverse discussion on the topics of homelessness, poverty, criminal justice, and child welfare. He is looking forward to immersing himself more into the German language, as well as applying what he learns towards his future career as a licensed generalist social worker.
