On Friday November 16, 2018, professors Abadie and Daddah, organized a “Conversation Evening" for their French Conversation classes. They invited their students to an evening of conversation and good food. The students conversed with a group of French speaking people from Mauritania, Rwanda, Senegal, France, Koweit, Lebanon, Quebec and Belgium. On Friday, November 9, 2018, the Department of Modern Languages held the Fall semester meeting for prospective and current majors and minors. The students learned about the Study Abroad programs in China, Mexico, France, Germany and Puerto Rico. In addition, students were given tips about those programs by the UCIE staff.
