New faculty are welcomed in Sociology and Anthropology

The Department of Sociology/Anthropology would to take this opportunity to welcome four new faculty members that will become part of our family starting this Fall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jessica Penwell Barnett Professional Head Shot.jpgJessica Barnett (PhD University of Windsor 2014) is joining us as an Assistant Professor of Sexuality/Gender Studies.  She will be teaching for the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program as well as for the department.

 


Carley photo.jpgRobert Carley (PhD Texas A&M University 2012) will be an Assistant Professor of Sociology.  His courses will include Sociological Theory, Individual in Society, Social Movements, and Social Change.


 

Catherine Cooke 02 6-15 (2).jpgCatherine Cooke (PhD The Ohio State University 2012) is the new BioAnthropology Instructor.  She will be teaching Intro to Biological Anthropology, as well as the associated labs for this course.


Greene photo.jpgLance Greene (PhD University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill 2009) will be an Assistant Professor of Anthropology. He will be teaching such courses as Introduction to Archaeology, Field Methods, and Archaeological Theory.
