After having guests from Zurich Switzerland come to Wright State in 2013, Wright State students have had the opportunity to visit there this summer. The Comparative Social Welfare: US & Switzerland class, SW3890/6890, taught by Dr. Carl Brun, is just finishing up their trip. The Council on Social Work Education granted accreditation to the Greater Miami Valley Joint MASW program, which is a collaborative effort between Wright State University and Miami University. The accreditation is retroactive to Fall 2012, the first semester of the program, and covers the first graduating class of Spring 2014 and all current students.

The primary goal for The Magnificent Seven is to help all seven members of the group earn promotion to full professor.
