The Thompson-Hine Pre-Law Diversity Scholarship
Are you planning to attend law school? Could you use at least $500 toward your last Wright State tuition bill? Then you should apply for the Thompson-Hine Pre-Law Scholarship!
Who is Eligible?
Current Wright State students who have:
- Registered for the LSAC (Law School Admission Council) service
- Declared as a Legal Studies minor
- Otherwise expressed an interest in attending law school.
All persons who meet at least one of the above criteria are eligible to apply for this scholarship. First preference will be given to students who are members of a racial or ethnic minority, registered with the Office of Disability Services, or members of the LGBTQ community.
How to Apply
Begin practicing your advocacy skills by making your most compelling “closing argument” in type-written essay of 500 words or less, explaining why you wish to attend law school and why you are deserving of a pre-law scholarship.
Be sure to address how you meet at least one of the above-stated eligibility requirements.
Submit your written application, along with proof of your LSAC registration, to: Thompson-Hine Pre-Law Scholarship Committee, 325 Millett Hall.
Deadline for applications is January 20 of each year.
