Dr. Marlese Durr has been selected by the Sociologists for Women in Society for the 2022 Distinguished Feminist Lecturer Award. As part of this recognition, she will develop a lecture that will be delivered in two venues: 1) at the 2024 SWS Winter Meeting in a location that has yet to be determined and 2) on one selected college or university campus during the 2023-2024 academic year. We are pleased to announce that Laura Luehrmann, Ph.D., has been named the chair of the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA) at Wright State University. Luehrmann previously served as the director of the international and comparative politics master’s degree program.
