Modern Languages Honors & Honors Graduates

Departmental Honors

The Honors Program of the Department of Modern Languages provides students of superior academic ability the opportunity to use, broaden, and demonstrate the knowledge and skills they have acquired ; their work must show a keener perception, a greater depth, and a higher degree of originality than is expected in non-honors projects. Candidates for honors in the Department of Modern Languages must be majors in the department.  At the time of application for admittance to the program, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 in their major.
