Micah Zavacky is a Dayton-based artist and educator. He received a BFA in Studio Art from Wright State University in 2014 and an MFA in Studio Art from Illinois State University in 2017.

En plein air has been the focus of his artistic process for the last ten years. The landscape has motivated Micah to live more connected and concerned with the earth. A passionate gardener and animal lover, Micah hopes to have a farm one day where he can draw his plants and animals all day, every day. Tending and caring for the land and its critters is a passion his artwork has created.
