Applied Behavioral Science Program - New Director

Hello. My name is Jacqueline Bergdahl and I’m the new Director of the Applied Behavioral Science program. Dr. Karen Lahm was the most immediate prior director and before her, it was Dr. David Orenstein – both Drs. Lahm and Orenstein still teach in the ABS program.

I enjoy my position as director of this program because it allows me to interact with a lot of interesting potential, current and past ABS students.  Students come from a variety of backgrounds with a variety of research interests and go on to diverse careers inside and outside of academia.

I have been at Wright State University since 2000 and have been teaching in the ABS program since 2001.  I primarily teach research methods, but have taught theory in the past.  I also teach weekend seminars on violent death and methodological topics like evaluation, scales and indexes and visual methods.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to meet me, please stop by my office (257 Millett) or send me an email: Jacqueline.Bergdahl@wright.edu.  I would be happy to meet with you.
