Teaches advanced generalist social work direct practice skills with communities and organizations. Skills applied during stages of social work intervention: Engagement, Assessment, Intervention, and Evaluation. Content includes community organization, locality development, advocacy, legislative policy change, and grant writing to support funding of social service organizations.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate level SW 7230 Minimum Grade of D
