Colleen Ryan is the standing president of Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio. She served as Vice President of Defense Programs at The Dayton Development Coalition. She served as the 88th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and retired in 2008 after 26 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Colleen is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She holds a Master's degree of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as well as a Master's degree of Strategic Studies from Air War College/Air University and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from the University of New Hampshire.

Colleen has moved about 20 times but says that Dayton is her favorite place. She owns a house in the Oregon District and has lived here longer than she has anywhere else. She enjoys giving back by serving on the College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Leadership Board at Wright State.
