Minor in Women’s Studies or Sexuality Studies

Students may also choose to pursue a minor in Women’s Studies or Sexuality Studies, thereby gaining a basic perspective of the issues addressed in the area of study and to supplement their major. To be admitted to either minor, students must have a 2.0 GPA and a grade of “C” for each course counted toward the minor.

Women’s Studies Minor Requirements: 18 Credit Hours

  • Core Course (WMS 2000): 3
  • Approved Women’s Studies Electives (5 courses): 15

Sexuality Studies Minor Requirements: 18 Credit Hours

  • Core Courses (WMS 2000 and WMS 3010): 6
  • Approved Women’s Studies Electives (4 courses): 12
