Successful Celebration with Alumni and Friends!

GRAs

On Thursday, March 13, 2014, nearly 100 guests mingled over food, drinks, and good company. The Department of Urban Affairs and Geography and the Center for Urban and Public Affairs invited alumni, previous staff and faculty, and community partners to the reception. Held at Wright State University’s Nutter Center Berry Room, the event was a success.

As guests got reacquainted and reminisced, first year MPA student and graduate research assistant, Hani Termanini, entertained the guests with his performance on the classical guitar. Guests browsed the numerous projects and reports set up on display by graduate research assistant, Elyse Giardullo. Jack Dustin, department chair and director of CUPA, honored Jerri Killian in recognition of her many years of service as director of the MPA program (2004-2013). Special guest, Kristin Sobolik, dean of the College of Liberal Arts, spoke highly of the many accomplishments of the department and CUPA. We would like to thank the college for its continued support and encouragement.

Shown in the photo are Rod Miller, a 1971 Geography alumnus; Clifton Dungey, current adjunct; Jerome Clemens, former Geography professor; and Arliss Perry, a 1980 Geography alumnus as well as current adjunct.
