
Jasmine Moore, B.S., M.A., is an Education and Training intern employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. In this role, she works on various projects designed to help enhance the workforce development of the 10,000+ base personnel. In 2012, Jasmine received her Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from the University of West Georgia. She is a proud military spouse to an Air Force officer stationed at Wright- Patterson AFB. Her connection to the military helped to inspire the topic for her graduation project. Jasmine’s Applied Behavioral Sciences project entitled Legalization of Gay Marriage and its Impact on Military Stereotypes of Homosexuals analyzed what effect marriage equality has on stereotypes about homosexual military members. Some of her most recent accomplishments include her nomination and acceptance into the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society, serving as a peer mentor in the ABS Wright Path Peer Mentorship program, and being awarded Wright Patterson AFB Force Support Squadron civilian category I of the quarter. Upon graduation from the ABS program, Jasmine plans to continue her career as a civil service employee within the Department of Defense and would like to pursue a Ph.D.
