On January 21, 2016, students learned about the unique opportunity to travel to Amman, Jordan this coming summer. Arabic professor, Amira Orr gave a presentation about the different unique places they will visit: Petra, one of the seven wonders of the world, the Dead Sea, and "Almaghtass" where Jesus was baptized as well as many other cities.
She also talked about the activities that the students will experience in Jordan. For example, they will learn about the Middle Eastern cuisine through customized cooking classes, they will go to a Jordanian wedding and have Henna tatoo, they will play soccer and do many more fun activities.
