Student Organizations

The History Club is open to all Wright State history majors and minors.  Numerous undergraduate majors have undertaken internships in recent years. These are organized between the department faculty and the CLASSPublic History Professionals is the graduate student organization for all Public History graduate students.  This organization provides networking opportunities and additional career training opportunities.

Phi Alpha Theta is the national honor society for history majors, graduate students in history, and others who have taken advanced courses in history. The Rho Sigma Chapter is open to all Wright State students who meet the entrance requirements.  Invitations to join are sent early in the Spring semester to qualified individuals, and induction occurs at the spring department reception.  Inductees are eligible for scholarships, prizes, and graduation regalia.
