Korean artist Soo Sunny Park is best known for using everyday building materials to create large, experiential installations that rely on repetition and the interplay of light. There will be a free public lecture on Sunday, October 13 at 2:30 pm, with a closing reception to follow until 5:30.

The Fixed Shadow: A Juried Photography Exhibition of Camera-less Images

We are inviting local and national artists to submit for an exhibit of camera-less images, including photograms, photogenic drawing, and scanograms. There will be a public reception and gallery talk with the jurors on Sunday, October 27, 3:00-5:30 pm.

An exhibition of contemporary artists approaching the landscape. Featuring video artist Miguel Arzabe of San Francisco, Benjamin Gardner of Iowa, painter Nina Rizzo of Illinois, and Amy Sacksteder of Michigan. There will be a gallery talk and public reception with the artists on January 19, 2014, 3:00-5:30 pm.

Open Studio and Regional Juried High School Competition

One component of this Open Studio program will be hands-on activities for youth based on works from our permanent collection. The activities are developed in partnership with Spark Art Studio of Kettering, Ohio. The second component will be a juried exhibition of local High School Students, organized by Glen Cebulash, Chair of the Art & Art History department.
