SW 6620 - Social Gerontology ICredit Hour(s): 3 Study of the social aspects of aging, the needs of the aging population, and society's response to those needs. A life course perspective that incorporates cultural, economic, historical and structural contexts provides the framework for examining aging-related issues, particularly in regards to the impact on quality of life for older adults.
