COM 4251 - Race, Gender and Health

Students will learn about the integral nature of communication in health including: the role communication plays in shaping individuals' social and cultural expectations and beliefs about health and illness, and the ways in which this information may influence how it is we understand and communicate about race, gender and health.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate level COM 3250 Minimum Grade of D
Enrollment Restrictions: Must be enrolled in the following Classifications: Junior, Senior.
